• Most of our vehicles are full-size sedans or a minivan. The models years range from 1992 to 2001. All are air-conditioned with radios and automatic transmissions.
• The vehicles are  picked up and returned to our facility here in Longview TX. 
• Each vehicle has been prepared for service at our facilities.  Vehicles are inspected, repaired and maintained to insure reliability. During the lease period, cost of repairs is covered by TECH Team. Cost of oil changes, tire rotation, and routine service is the responsibility of the renter.
• ASSIGNMENT AND RESERVATIONS:  Since reservations are made as applications are completed and approved, it is desirable to make application as soon as possible.  The reservation of the applicant’s vehicle is complete upon receipt of a $50 non-refundable application fee and a $200 deposit.
• Please review our Foundational Biblical Beliefs statement on the application to indicate your agreement.
  • The cost and acquisition of automobile insurance is the responsibility of the renter. This cost will vary with the location of the missionary while in the states as well as other factors.  We can, upon request, supply you with the name and address of an agent here in Longview which may be of service. 

• Vehicles are inspected, repaired and maintained by TECH.  Repairs, not due to negligence or accident, are covered by TECH.
• Pickup and return of the vehicle should be made by the principal driver on the vehicle lease application.
• Pickup and return is made in the Longview, TX vicinity by prior arrangement.
• The minimum lease period is four months.

RENTERS RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drivers must be at least 25 years of age.
• Tire chains may not be used on the vehicle.
• The vehicle may not be used to tow any other type of vehicle or trailer.
• Drivers must abstain from alcohol or illegal drugs during the lease period.
• The renter is to provide routine maintenance and arrange for prompt repairs.
• Any repair over $100 must be approved by the staff of Mechanical Services at TECH. If not approved the lease applicant will be responsible for the cost of any repairs.
• Liability, Collision and Comprehensive Insurance, as described below, is to be purchased by the renter. Proof of coverage must be made before the vehicle is released. The renter is responsible for payment of deductibles.
• Failure to maintain and operate the vehicle in a reasonable manner and/or according to state laws may result in an additional cost to the renter.
• Vehicle insurance is provided by the driver, at the following coverage minimums:

·         Liability: $100,000/300,000

·         Property Damage: $50,000

·         Medical: $10,000

·         Collision, Comprehensive, Uninsured/Under insured Motorist, Body Injury and Property Damage” $20,000/40,000/15,000.

·         Towing coverage must also be provided. 

·         Missionary TECH Team, 25 FRJ Dr., Longview, TX, 75602, is to be named as "loss payee" and the Additional Insured-Lessor by endorsement to the policy.

• Ensuring that all drivers of a leased vehicle have a valid and legal driver’s license is the responsibility of the applicant and filing such individuals as drivers of the vehicle with their insurance company is also the responsibility of the applicant. 
• Basic operational expenses are the responsibility of the renter, such as oil changes, tire rotations and fluid top-offs and refills.
• A current valid United States driver’s license is required for an application to be approved.

RATES and FEES

Cars:  $120 per month plus eight cents per mile.       

Vans: $170 per month plus ten cents per mile.

All leased vehicles can be picked up or returned to our location here in Longview, Texas.  When doing so, you are invited to tour our facilities.  It is also possible for us to provide overnight lodging, if needed, on an availability basis, when picking up a vehicle in Longview.

A non-refundable Application Fee of $50 and a deposit of $200 must accompany the application.  The deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle in satisfactory condition. The full deposit will be refunded for reservations canceled two months before the scheduled pickup date.  For cancellations after two months, only $100 of the deposit will be refunded.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations are processed at the point of receiving a completed and approved Application.  Applications should be submitted as early as possible and may be sent by fax, postal service, or email.
