Opportunities for Service at Missionary TECH
Team
|
Full Time Staff Missionary Service |
Full-time staff are
committed to the ministry of Missionary TECH Team for at least a
two-year period, having been called of God to work long-term in a
technical or support service area. Typically, the staff members
and their families reside in Longview and serve a forty hours
average per
week.
Requirements: All full-time workers must agree with our
Foundational Biblical Beliefs statement, submit an application
form and be accepted by Missionary TECH Team's Board to serve.
Technical experience and professional training are necessary for
most areas of ministry. TECH is a faith-mission as such, staff
missionaries are faith-based in their financial support through
the development of a ministry partner team from churches, friends
and family.

Internships |
| Internships are open
to individuals who have completed a minimum of pre-professional
study or practical work experience; who want to receive experience
and on-the-job training in their area of study while serving the
Lord in missions. The Missionary Intern works alongside
experienced technical missionaries on actual project assignments.
Internships are available in all TECH service areas. Potential
internship candidates must agree with our Foundational Biblical
Beliefs statement, fill in an application form and be accepted by
Missionary TECH Team's Board to serve.

Short-term Ministry Service |
Short-term ministry
is for those who minister as part of the Missionary TECH Team
staff for a designated period of time (generally under one year).
They may be filling in a gap for needed personnel while the
Mission waits for a full-time staff member, or serving as an
Intern or Reserve Volunteer.
Requirements: All short-term workers must agree with our
Foundational Biblical Beliefs statement, submit an application
form and be accepted by Missionary TECH Team to serve. Short-term
workers must provide for their own support during the time they
will minister with the Mission.To request

TECH Reserves |
| TECH Reserves is a
program area providing opportunity for Christians with technical
skills and resources to be actively involved in the work of
missions. Reserves serve on a part-time or short-term basis in all
Missionary TECH Team service areas. Project involvement may be
done at TECH’s headquarters, at the project site, or from the
volunteer’s home or office.
